Children
We recommend you reserve a table between 5- 7pm if you plan on bringing children under the age of 16.
Booking more than 8 diners?
We do not accept bookings larger than 8 diners via our online portal. If you wish to book a party of 8 or more please call us on 01983 716281 to discuss your requirements. On booking parties larger than 8 diners we require a minimum spend per head on food of £20.00 per person, this is paid in advance prior to the event and is non refundable (see cancelations below). Your food bill will be presented on the evening and any shortfall will be requested on the evening, we accept cash and card.
Cancelations for bookings of 9 or more diners?
We do accept cancelations on the following basis:
Event cancelled 2 weeks prior to the event 100% refund
Event cancelled 1 week prior to the event 50% refund
Event cancelled 3 days prior to the event 25% refund
Event cancelled 2 days prior to the event 0% refund
Please arrive on time!
Our food is cooked to order so arriving on time is crucial for you to receive a smooth and efficient service, if you do arrive late for any reason this may delay your food arriving to your table.

The best venue to hold your party

Long Island is the perfect venue for hold your party. We realise that YOUR party is an important event, which is why we’ll always do everything we can to ensure it goes smoothly on the evening. We can cater for all types of parties, including birthdays, small weddings, stag/hen dos and of course your office Christmas parties. Depending on the size of your party we will make sure you’re all seated together and if your party exceeds 40+ you will be seated on our mezzanine deck.
For most of the time we will run our normal menu, but on occasions we do offer a tailor-made menu to meet your budgetary requirements. For groups of over 20 diners, we will ask for pre-orders to help things run more smoothly.
Christmas parties at Long Island

Looking for somewhere new, exciting and different for your Christmas party this year? Then look no further than Long Island, the perfect venue for fun festive events.
Set on two levels, our stylish restaurant features a glamorous cocktail bar on the ground floor with spacious dining area located on the mezzanine deck overhead.
We can accommodate up to 50 diners on our Mezz Deck and a further 16 diners on the lower cocktail bar level, and in total we are licensed for up to 110 people.
To help your party organisation go as smoothly as possible, we have put together a downloadable pack which you can pass on to your guests so they can pre-order their meal, to streamline the process on the evening. We will email you this pack on request.
We can even tailor the evening’s music for you! Whether your taste is for 60’s, 70’s or 80’s tunes, you name it and we will put together a great playlist for you.
We’re also happy to dress the tables for you with crackers, party poppers etc. Just give us a spec and we’ll do the rest, working within your specified budget.

Looking for an exciting new venue for your New Year’s party?
Long Island offers the perfect atmosphere to welcome in 2019 in style. Set on two levels, Long Island oozes class, with a sleek cocktail bar on the ground floor and a spacious dining area located on the mezzanine deck which overlooks the bar.
We can accommodate up to 52 diners on our Mezz Deck and a further 16 diners on the lower cocktail bar level. In total we are licensed for up to 110 people.
As we have limited space for dining on New Year’s Eve, we would strongly recommend early booking to secure your table.
